We help you manage priorities pragmatically. A materiality analysis of your actual assets and exposures becomes a multi-year roadmap, so climate risk management becomes a sustained, sustainable advantage rather than a one-off report.
Most organizations have climate-relevant data scattered across departments: spreadsheets, PDFs, unstructured text, and knowledge that only exists in people's heads. We help you consolidate it into a data lake, sovereign on-premise or managed, built to work across all your data types.
We cover your baseline using publicly available and open-source climate data. If a public dataset already answers the question, we use it, no reason to pay for what's already open.
From that baseline, we identify what's actually missing: higher-resolution hazard data, additional risk layers, or bespoke climate indicators defined by your own materiality assessment, not a generic vendor checklist.
We prioritize by asset exposure, not by what's easiest to buy. For your highest-exposure assets, we close critical gaps either with research-validated datasets that already exist, or by generating custom downscaling and indicators with current models where nothing suitable exists yet.
Everything in the data lake is retrievable through search, through dashboards, and as map layers, deployed on-premise, integrated with your existing infrastructure, or fully managed by us.

Research-Validated Existing Data
Often the resolution or indicator you need already exists somewhere: a national flood model, a regional downscaled climate projection, a published academic dataset for your hazard and geography. We check for this first, and validate it against your specific assets before you rely on it. This is faster, cheaper, and avoids re-deriving something that's already been done well.
Custom Downscaling & Indicators
When nothing suitable exists at the resolution or for the indicator your materiality assessment calls for, we generate it: downscaling global or regional climate model output to your asset locations, and deriving bespoke indicators from the underlying hazard variables. We validate these against observational data and document the assumptions, so the result is usable in a real risk decision, not a black box.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why not just buy a climate risk score from a vendor?
Vendor scores are a reasonable starting point for a baseline, but independent comparisons of vendor tools consistently find that the same asset can get very different scores from different providers, and that generic scores rarely capture asset-specific vulnerability. We use public and vendor data where it's genuinely useful, but treat a single vendor score as an input, not an answer, especially for your highest-value assets.
We don't have a data lake or much data infrastructure yet. Is that a problem?
No, that's usually the starting point, not a blocker. We help you set up the data lake as part of this process, sized to what you actually need, whether that's a lean on-premise setup or a fully managed service.
How do you decide which data gaps are worth closing?
By exposure, not by what's easiest or cheapest to buy. We prioritize the assets most exposed to relevant hazards, and only invest in higher-resolution data, additional risk layers, or custom indicators where that would change a decision for those assets.
What if our assets are too specific for generalized industry models?
That's exactly the case we build custom vulnerability functions for. Industry-average curves and satellite-derived estimates are built for typical buildings and typical portfolios; they're not designed to capture what makes your specific high-value asset behave differently. We work with your own operational and engineering knowledge to model that directly.
Do you replace our internal team, or build our own capability?
We work alongside your team, including your finance function, so that the models, the data lake, and the reasoning behind prioritization decisions stay with your organization rather than living only in a report you receive once.
Can this run entirely within our own infrastructure?
Yes. The data lake and the resulting dashboards and map layers can run fully on-premise, integrated into your existing systems, or as a managed service. The choice is yours, and it can change as your needs do.
